  • SHIPPING 

     

    How much is the shipping fee?

     

    We use standard shipping rates and since we want your products to arrive in good condition, we’re using trackable shipping that will handle your package with care. The shipping prices will vary according to the artwork, dimensions, weight, and destination address, and they will be added to the price of the work at the check-out.

     

    Please note: There are exceptions to the shipping pricings which may vary in some specific sizes or weights for which will apply an extra charge. This will be specified in the product technical sheet.

     

    How do you ship the products?

     

    We mainly work with Seur for shipping in Spain and with FedEx International for the rest of the European Union and other countries.

     

    How long does the shipment take?

     

    Orders within Spain will be processed and shipped in 7 business days and delivered within 1 to 10 days since you placed the order, unless otherwise specified.

    International orders will be processed and shipped in 7 business days and delivered within 2 to 4 weeks since you placed your order, unless otherwise specified.

    How do I know that my package has arrived?

    As soon as your order reaches the delivery point you will get an sms or e-mail to notify you.  Each piece of art is sent using a tracking number and signed for service.

     

    What happens if I don’t receive the artwork?

     

    Please note that if you are not in to receive the artwork and the work goes to the depot or is left outside of your property, we are not liable for any damages or losses. If the artwork is returned back to us, we will contact you to notify this and may charge the return shipping costs. However, if your work has been lost, please contact us at info@vasto.es and we will try and help get to the bottom of it with you.

     

    What happens if the product is damaged?

     

    Be sure to check the goods for any damage when you receive the delivery. Goods with visible external shipping damage should be claimed from us. Please, ask the driver to note the damage on your bill of lading from the shipping company.

     

    If you would discover hidden defects / transport damages after opening the package, communicate this within 12 hours at  info@vasto.es. Please attach the message with clear pictures of the damage and possibly damaged packaging and provide the email with your order number. For us to be able to claim damaged goods to the shipping company, we need to notify transport damage to the shipping company within 1 to 3 work days. We are therefore grateful if you report the damage within that time.

     

    Do I get a tracking number?

     

    You will get an email or sms with a tracking number once your order is fulfilled and leaves the warehouse so that you always know where it is.

     

     

  • ORDERS

     

    Can I order a framed work?

     

    Framing is only available in Spain, due to high international shipping costs of framed pieces, in addition to their great fragility.


    If you are in Spain and you’d like to request the framing of your work, please contact us at info@vasto.es and we will arrange it according to your specific needs and taste. Please note that framing management has an additional service fee.

    How do I know that my order has been registered?

    When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email.

     

    I have not received an order confirmation

     

    If you placed an order with us and did not receive your order confirmation, it may be because you entered the wrong email address when you placed the order. Please contact info@vasto.es and ask if we have an order registered to you, so we can correct your email address, and email you your order confirmation. It may also be because the order has not gone through for some reason, then contact us before placing a new order, to avoid double orders.

     

    What happens if I don’t pick up my order?

     

    For orders with Fedex and Seur, there may be a second attempt of delivery. Otherwise, your order will remain at your nearest post office for 14 days. If they are unable to deliver, you will be notified by sms or email.

     

    For goods that are returned to us due to the customer having not collected the goods we will charge the corresponding costs of return. This is to cover the double freight (to you and back) as well as the cost for our packing and unpacking of goods.

     

     

  • RETURNS

     

    How do I return my order?

     

    If there is a problem with your purchase, please contact us at info@vasto.es within 12 hours of the arrival of the artwork. Provide your name, order information, proof of purchase, and the reason for returning. You may return your purchase within 7 days from the date of delivery.

    All items should be returned in their original condition and in its original packaging. We reserve the right to refuse any returns that do not fulfill these criteria. Please note that you are responsible for the safe return back to us. You can use the shipping carrier of your choice. We recommend using a trackable service so that the product and your refund isn’t lost.

     

    Is there a fee for returns?

     

    Yes, you are responsible for arranging and paying for the return shipment yourself,-unless artwork is damaged at reception.- We recommend using a trackable service as you are responsible for the order until it reaches our warehouse.

     

    What happens if a product is faulty or wrong?

     

    Please email us and tell us what’s wrong. Take pictures of the damage or issue, including pictures of the damaged packaging, and email them to us. We’ll gladly refund the full purchase amount or arrange a store credit for you within 14 days of receipt of the artwork.

     

     

  • PAYMENT

     

    Can I pay with card?

     

    Yes, we accept all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The card payments are managed via payment provider Stripe.

     

    Are taxes and duties included in the price?

     

    EU

     

    All prices include VAT, meaning taxes and duties are included in the final price.

     

    Rest of EU and other countries

     

    All prices include VAT and are shipped on DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) and DAP (Delivered At Place) basis, meaning that product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. If you want to estimate the tax you will need to pay, please contact your local tax customs.

     

    PRODUCTS

     

    What does limited edition mean?

     

    This means that each print is only made in a set number of editions per size and will never be reproduced again. It’s a way of making sure that prints are kept special and makes sure that the prints won’t be found in every other home. All of them are certified and signed by the artist.

     

    What does original work mean?

     

    As well as limited editions, we also offer original artworks which are one-of-a-kind. These may include works on canvas, drawings, sculptures, objects, or hand painted prints. If a work of art is unique it will be specified in the description and it will be priced to reflect its comparative rarity. All unique works of art displayed on the platform will still fall within our price bracket of 100€ – 6,000€.

     

    Can I order commissioned works?

     

    Some of our artists accept commissioned works by pre-order. If you would like to ask for a special commissioned work by any of the VASTO artists, please contact us at info@vasto.es. We will be happy to attend to your request and coordinate the order with the artist.

     

    How are the objects made?

     

    The objects come in all types of materials such as painting, fabric, ceramic, plywood, clay, metal and fabric. The objects are mostly made by hand, which means that they are completely unique and one-of-a-kind. Please note that they could have little organic imperfections due to being handmade.

    Do the artworks have a certificate of authenticity?

    All artworks are accompanied by signed certificates of authenticity.

     

    Can I find the products anywhere else?

     

    Most artworks are made exclusively for VASTO and aren’t sold anywhere else. At times we offer selected pieces that are available in some other places.

    How do you select the artists?

     

    We put a lot of work in our research to discover promising emerging artists around the world, as well as in the selection and artworks curation. Some of the factors that we value when selecting an artist to be part of VASTO are having their own and unique style, the potential for development as an artist, commitment to their artistic career, the quality of their work both in terms of artistic value and quality of execution and materiality of the works, and the aesthetic appeal.

     

    How can I become one of your artists?

     

    We welcome submissions of work from artists seeking representation. To submit your work, please send your bio, artist statement, CV, link to your website and/or social media channels, as well as a PDF of your available works to info@vasto.es. We will review each submission and will be in touch.

     

    How can I know more about VASTO artists?

     

    You can find a short biography and a CV in each artist’s dossier. Also, we constantly publish on our Instagram account and mail newsletters with information and news about our artists. You follow us on Instagram at @vasto_gallery and subscribe to our mailing list and access it anytime.
