Anna and Maria Ritsch are sisters who have worked in the field of photography and audio visual media independently over the past years. At the beginning of 2020 they started their collaboration Project ‘Ritsch Sisters’ working as an artist duo. In their artistic practice, they explore the tensions between the physical, spatial, and emotional, through photography and film. The duo collaborates internationally, with Maria based in Vienna and Anna in New York City.
