VASTO presents Arqueología de lo Posible - the first exhibition to bring together the work of Pol Agustí
(Barcelona, 1985) and Max Milà Serra (Barcelona, 1994) curated by Carmen Riestra. After years of
friendship and mutual admiration, their practices meet in a duo show where ceramics and light appear as
traces of a possible culture, where science and memory, earth and technology, light and clay intertwine.
The exhibition imagines a fictional territory: a place where clay is still alive and technology watches.
Max’s lights not only illuminate Pol’s pieces but reveal them as if uncovering the remains of a civilization,
highlighting their organic, almost mountainous textures and offering a new perspective through the act of
lighting them. There is something both archaeological and cosmic in this gesture, as if technology were bringing
to the surface a story the clay still remembers.
Residue: Soft Remains — Presented during CPH, 2025 3 Days of Design
A modular, collectible seating series by Sara Regal, crafted from layered industrial waste gathered across Mallorca. Though initially resembling dense, geologic forms, the pieces reveal a soft, textured surface shaped for rest upon
closer encounter...
